As minimum you should use the FGFS-version 2.6:
-- for versions prior 2.6 the centerlines are not clearly visible in daylight
-- for version 2.6 you can add "FGdata/effects/lfeat.eff" to improve that
-- starting with the current GIT-FGDATA this is already included (see item 3)!
Do not forget step 2: Replacing the NAVDAT in order to have the correct ILS+VOR-Frequencies

from Papillon brings the new, 4th runway (North/West) to EDDF - now in
850-style.
Starting Oct.2011
there will be 3 runways in parallel: 07/25 L/C/R (e.g. the now 25R will
become the 25C).
- With the new EDDF-EELX Version we provide now the new ILS technicalities, so that we can start operations as done in reality:
- 07C/25C and 18 and will be used for Starts only
- 07L/25R and 07R/25L will be
used for Landings (B747 and A380
etc. must land on 07R/25L).
- New ELLX-buildings, taxiways, etc. designed by D-EKEW
- New in version 2011-10-01 are "Jetways" at the ELLX-Main-Terminal
- taxi onto the yellow line to the right off the "Jetways"
- mouse-click onto the "Jetway"
- (use "CTRL-C" if you do not know where to click!)
- Also there are now hangars with operational Slide-Doors, so you can park inside, dry and warm!

Pick up the new Scenery as first entry, even before a possibly existing TerraSync-Dir! Delete or Insert this new directory to/from the list to activate or deactivate it. It should look like e.g.:

Danach hast Du (mindestens) 2 „Szeneries“: Das grundsätzlich vorhandene
"$FG_ROOT/Scenery"
und das"$FG_ROOT/Scenery/EDDF-ELLX"
Setze das neue an die erste Position aller Sceneries – auch vor ein evtl. vorhandenes TerraSync-Verzeichnis! Entferne dieses Verzeichnis (oder fügen es hinzu) wenn Du es de-aktivieren bzw. aktivieren willst. Es sollte dann etwa so aussehen:
